The Occult Secret Behind the Mars Race

Of all the planets in our solar system, Mars has arguably had the biggest impact on, and most persistent hold over, the human imagination. In astrological lore Mars is associated with fire, struggle and destruction. Indeed, the Romans proclaimed Mars to be the God of war and identified him with the Greek God, Ares. The Romans held festivals for Mars during the month of March – The word “March” comes from the Latin word for Mars – “Martius”.
In recent years there’s been somewhat of a renewed interest in Mars, which has sparked the desire to launch a manned expedition there within the near future (SpaceX founder, Elon Musk has asserted himself as the frontman for the operation, claiming that humans will be on the Red Planet by 2026). Furthermore, both the US (NASA) and China have recently landed probes on Mars, with other nations looking to do the same.
For a long time, Mars has been the focus of intense controversy. Back in 1976, the Viking Mars probe took its famous pictures of the sphinx-like face on Mars’ surface, along with other seemingly man-made structures in the Cydonia region of the planet. If the assertions of sphinxes, pyramids and other structures on Mars be true, it would corroborate the idea of an ancient civilization that once called the planet home.
However, most mainstream scholars and astronomers will tell you that the “face” on mars was nothing more than a trick of the light and the “pyramid” shaped complexes are merely natural formations. And they may be right. But then again, for a derelict, arid wasteland, there sure seems to be an intense interest in going there. And this can’t be ascribed to mere “curiosity” for any manned mission there would require a massive investment of time, money and manpower. Furthermore, why the geopolitical contention between China and the US? Why is there a race to get to Mars?
No discussion regarding NASA or space missions in general, would be complete without at least mentioning Richard Hoagland’s work exposing the occultic agenda behind the early US space program. Hoagland reminds us that one of the key rocket scientists of the time and the founder of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL) at Caltech was Jack Parsons, a devout disciple of Aleister Crowley’s Thelemite Order in Pasadena, California, with an intense interest in the occult and black magic.
Parsons was also friends with L. Ron Hubbard. Allegedly, the two of them engaged in magical rituals aimed at conjuring spirits and other supernatural beings. Hubbard went on to found the Scientology cult, which, incidentally, at its upper levels, teaches about ancient space wars and malevolent extraterrestrials.
Jack Parsons is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in the history of the US space program and was a big advocate of manned space flight and exploration. But were his interests in the occult intertwined with the work he did at JPL? Caltech itself has a fascinating and deeply occult history with one of its early scientists being the renowned astronomer, George Ellery Hale, who had a fascination with ancient Egypt, sun worship and the mysterious pharaoh, Akhenaten. He also claimed to receive messages from interdimensional beings.

There are further curious connections that indicate there may be more than meets the eye behind the rise of Elon Musk and SpaceX. For example, there are some uncanny similarities between SpaceX and a former private West German aerospace startup called OTRAG that attempted to make it into space more than three decades before SpaceX’s first successful launch. The genius behind OTRAG was Lutz Kayser, a young German rocket engineer with the dream of developing a low-cost rocket launcher (sound familiar?). OTRAG attracted hundreds of investors and a host of expert advisors. One of those advisors was Werner Von Braun.
I haven’t been able to find any direct links between OTRAG and SpaceX, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some connection – technologically or otherwise – is eventually unearthed.
Let’s return to Mars, for there are other geological features on its surface, besides the face and seemingly man-made structures, that seem to defy any possibility of a natural formation. For example, there is the presence of rectangular craters, objects that look like monoliths, and the strangest of them all, the colossal canyon known as the “Valles Marineris”.
In his illuminating book, The Cosmic War: Interplanetary Warfare, Modern Physics and Ancient Texts, Dr. Joseph Farrell describes the Valles Marineris as a “gashing wound” that resembles, geologically, the mythological archetype of the “wounded warrior”, bringing us back to the Greek warrior God, Ares. The Valles Marineris is over 3,000km long and 300km wide, with parts of it reaching 8km deep. Not only is the Valleris Merineris a geological mystery, it’s the largest canyon in the entire solar system – and if one subscribes to the theories of Dr. Farrell – it also constitutes evidence of a cosmic war in our ancient past, fought with weapons of mass destruction, a tale relayed to us in ancient texts from cultures around the world.
Some of the structures on Mars, predominantly in the Cydonia region, such as the sphinx-like “face”, the octagonal “pyramids”, oddly shaped craters and “obelisks” may indicate that Mars was once home to a thriving civilization. Furthermore, the presence on Mars’ surface of “war wounds” such as the colossal Valleris Marineris may indicate that this civilization wielded weapons of mass destruction, and, therefore, was incredibly technologically advanced.
This, combined with the strangeness surrounding the early space race, the occult aspects of NASA, and the revelations of ancient texts and astrological lore, leads one to conclude that there is likely more to the Mars agenda than a billionaire who wants to save the world (you know, because “climate change” is going to kill us all).
Could the push to get to Mars have nothing to do with saving humanity and everything to do with a desire to recover some remnants of this ancient civilization, and more importantly, the advanced technology that it wielded?

5. Rock Structure
This particular scene is imaged from the Spirit rover Panoramic camera on Sol 726 and the rover location is elevated just enough in the terrain to see some background behind the object and a little more of the terrain it appears to sit in. I include this scene here to provide general site context wider area terrain information and to demonstrate how alone and what a sharp stand out this object is in this terrain.
4. Face on Mars (Cydonia)
The Viking images presented us with a mesa and a reason to suspect artificiality – its seemingly improbable humanoid-face-like appearance. However, as is well known, face-like images sometimes appear in clouds, profiles of mountains, and various other random or visually noisy scenes. This is simply because remarkably regular patterns frequently arise by chance, even when the a priori odds are billions to one against that happening.
3. Monolith
The object in question was first spotted several years ago after being photographed by the HiRISE camera onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, a NASA space probe; every so often, it garners renewed interest on the Internet. But is it unnatural – a beacon erected by aliens for mysterious reasons, and even more mysteriously paralleled in the imaginations of Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke, creators of “2001”? Or is this rock the work of nature?
2. Humanoid Figure
NASA posted a photograph (PIA10216, Google it-same photo as the woman figure was found!) taken by the Mars Spirit Rover on their web site that bloggers around the world began scanning over carefully in order to catch anything that NASA may have accidentally let slip through. To everyone’s amazement some anonymous person in Asia did and posted it on the Internet causing widespread excitement over the possibilities of life existing on Mars.
1. Crowned Face
Another researcher, Greg Orme, has found in the MARS GLOBAL SURVEYOR archive a “Crowned Face”. It is perhaps 11 miles wide and situated near Syrtis Mayor. All these images were already photographed by Mariner 9 and Viking 1 and later published in several scientific books in the last years, first of all by myself in several newspaper articles in Germany and Austria during 1979 and 1981.
