‘Abdelbaset al-Megrahi was the only man convicted of the 1988 bombing.
The Scottish Criminal Cases Review Commission has found that a serious miscarriage of justice may have occurred in the conviction of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi for the Lockerbie bombing.
This error is ‘described by some as the worst in British legal history.’

1986 – Bombing of Libya
‘Libya has called on the United Nations Security Council to compel the United States to surrender nine men suspected of being involved in the 1986 bombings against Libya.’
Americans accused by Libya include:
- Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North
- Former CIA Director William Casey
- Former National Security Advisor John Poindexter
Ollie [Olliver] North served on the planning committee that selected the targets for the raid on Libya. [ 1038 ]
In addition, North ‘was a business partner of the Syrian arms and drug trafficker, Monzer al-Kassar .’ [ 1003 ]
According to the sources, the CIA and Oliver North with the help of Monzer al Kassar were smuggling heroin from Lebanon to the United States on Pan Am flights.
Kassar was a CIA asset, involved with Colonel Oliver North and General Richard Secord.
‘ It is alleged that, since his recruitment as a CIA agent, Monzer al-Kassar received a regular allowance from the CIA deposited in his accounts:
- at Katherein Bank, Vienna (A / c No. 50307495)
- and at the Swiss Bank Corporation in Geneva (A / cn ° 510230C-86). ‘
‘ Monzer al-Kassar is a Syrian arms and drug trafficker, married to Raghda Dubah, sister of Ali Issa Dubah, the former head of the Syrian secret service.
And, he is the close collaborator of Rifat Assad, the brother of Syrian President Hafez Assad. ‘
1988 – Is Oliver North linked to the Lockerbie bombing ?
In the late 1980s, Kassar was running a highly profitable heroin smuggling operation .
Drugs from the Bekaa Valley [a valley in the eastern part of Lebanon] are believed to transit through Germany and primarily supply the east coast of the United States. [..]
The DEA has admitted to making controlled deliveries via Frankfurt Airport using a Pan Am.
And, a German Authority official said the truth about Lockerbie lies in this drug operation.
In addition, it is alleged that, as part of the follow-up to the ‘Iran-Contra ‘ program, Kassar was allowed to use this smuggling route in exchange for his collaboration to free the American hostages in Lebanon.
Many insiders have no doubt that al-Kassar’s drug trafficking arrangements in Frankfurt were employed to put the bomb in the hold of Pan Am 103 […] .
Charles McKee and four other members of his CIA investigation team were returning from Beirut; and, they died on Pan Am 103.
Kassar had the means and the motive.

Did the CIA use profits from Lebanese heroin to help finance the attacks of September 11, 2001?
In Scotland , Mueller was appointed chief investigator of the 1988 Pan Am bombing 103.
S is ‘ story was a fragile story.
He accused a Libyan named Megrahi of coordinating the placement of a suitcase bomb ; who would have traveled unaccompanied at several airports to find her way to the doomed flight .
In 2009, despite Mueller’s persistent defense with this incredible story, Megrahi was released from prison.
And, he [Megrahi] died three years later in Libya.
With the Pan Am 103 case, Mueller was covering up facts relating to victims of the bombing.
A group of US intelligence specialists led by Major Charles McKee of the Defense Intelligence Agency [DIA] traveled to Beirut to find and rescue hostages.
And, during his stay, he learned of the CIA’s involvement in a drug smuggling operation, carried out as part of an agency project called COREA .
[As reported by TIME magazine ].
The likely explanation for the bombing, supported by independent intelligence experts, was that US agents “targeted Flight 103, in order to kill the hostage rescue team.”
This would prevent disclosure of what McKee’s team learned.
‘ This theory is also supported by the fact that the CIA immediately attended the scene of the accident to retrieve McKee’s briefcase.
And, she made it empty. ‘
Mueller of the FBI wouldn’t want a possible CIA drug trafficking mentioned?
Indeed, in the summer of 2001, when Bush’s new administration suspected that it would soon need a cover-up, it called Mueller for the job.
[- ‘What some people don’t know about Mueller is that he has long conducted government investigations into hijackings or cover-ups.’ The story of Mueller’s cover-ups ]
Was the alleged Lockerbie suicide bomber Abu Nidal an American spy?
In 2008, Scotland’s foremost legal expert, Professor Robert Black, urged the UK government to respond to the information; of which, there is evidence that Abu Nidal was an American agent.
Black believes Abu Nidal was responsible for coordinating the bomb; which detonated Pan-American Flight 103 over Lockerbie in 1988.
Intelligence reports prepared for Saddam Hussein’s security services indicate that Kuwaitis asked Abu Nidal, real name Sabri al-Banna, to verify whether al-Qaeda was present in Iraq.
The reports referred to ‘Abu Nidal’s’ collusion with US and Kuwaiti intelligence apparatuses in coordination with Egyptian intelligence services’.
And, activists said, the latest evidence adds weight to the claims; according to which the Libyan secret agent, ‘Abdelbasset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi’, convicted in 2001 of the atrocity and the Libyan government were scapegoats, in an attempt to cover a larger plot. [ .. ]
Pan Am 103 – 1988 – CIA and friends allegedly hit Lockerbie
Presumably, in order to avoid Pan Am 103 , US Ambassador to Lebanon John McCarthy and South African Foreign Minister Pik Botha had their travel plans changed at the last minute .
Charles McKee , a US Army Special Forces Major, and Matthew Gannon , Deputy Chief CIA Delegate in Beirut, flew Pan Am 103 .
Minutes before Heathrow Flight 103 took off at London Airport , FBI Deputy Director Oliver “Buck” Revell rushed onto the tarmac and pulled his son and daughter-in-law out of the plane. . [ 1001 ]

Revell was an associate of Lt. Col. Oliver North who was linked to Iran-Contra . [ 1002 ]
North ‘was a business associate in arms and drug trafficking with Syrian Monzer Al-Kassar .’
The Herald newspaper has learned that the CIA offered $ 2million (£ 1million) to the key witness in Lockerbie’s trial and his brother.
Of ‘d ocuments recently discovered’ show that Scottish police were aware of the discussions in financial conditions between the US intelligence with Tony Gauci and his brother Paul.
On April 17, 1999, Russell Warren Howe, in the Guardian, explains that the Israeli intelligence services were among those with a motive to blow up Pan Am 103 , over Lockerbie. [..]
Victor Ostrovsky, former Canadian intelligence colonel of the Israeli Mossad secret service and author of the bestseller ‘By Way Of Deception’ (the title comes from the Mossad motto), will testify that it was the Mossad commandos who installed the transmitter in Tripoli .
Which, generated a false signal of the “success” of the Berlin bomb . [..]
Therefore, Ostrovsky’s testimony would require the Lord Advocate to prove that the Lockerbie interception is genuine and not disinformation.
Ostrovsky believes that in both attacks Israel implicated Libya to protect Iran, to encourage it not to persecute its small Jewish community. [..]
Howe states the following:
‘In 1986, a bomb exploded in the nightclub’ La belle ‘in Berlin.
Libya has been blamed, on false evidence; and, Reagan bombed Tripoli. ‘
The author Gordon Thomas says that Mossad had organized the labeling and smuggling aboard the mortal suitcase Lockerbie.
Gordon Thomas recounts [in one of his books] how a Mossad officer from London station reported to Lockerbie immediately after the accident; and, he organized the removal of a suitcase belonging to US intelligence officer Charles McKee of the US Defense Intelligence Agency [DIA].
After the accident , Jim Wilson Livestock Tundergarth Hands t rouve suitcase McKee.
And, according to Wilson, it contained what looked like samples of cocaine or heroin.
Hours after the Lockerbie bombing, two planes loaded with ‘American intelligence agents’ arrived at the site.
And, Scottish radio reporter David Johnston quickly learned that the target of the bomb was a group of US intelligence officials returning from Beirut.
McKee’s suitcase ‘presumably contained his files on the CIA-Hizbollah-Mossad’ drug ring discovered by McKee.
‘Defense sources in Washington agree [ … ] that, McKee’s group was frustrated with the cover-up of the CIA drug program (OPERATION COREA).
And, they were going home… to expose the operation. ”
In 2007, Phillip Marlowe wrote an article titled: The COREA Connection? Part I…
We learn that:
Amiran Nir worked as an Israeli terrorism consultant to Prime Minister Shimon Peres.
Nir worked with the United States on the Iran-Contra, Arms for Hostages deal; jointly managed by the United States and Israel.
Nir teams up with Colonel Oliver North in this endeavor.
He would have obtained incriminating evidence on Bush.
Subsequently, Nir was drawn to Mexico; and, he dies in a mysterious plane crash.
A US Navy commander claimed that George HW Bush [Sr.] and Amiran Nir met at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem to brief him on the hostage arms deal [July 29, 1986].
According to Joel Bainerman:
“Nir was secretly recording the entire conversation.
And, it provided evidence linking Bush to the hostage arms deal.
At the meeting were McKee and Gannon; who died in Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie. ”
Nir may have had evidence of Bush’s involvement in Iran-Contra and even in the drug trafficking group COREA?
In 1988, Robert Mueller of the FBI oversaw the Lockerbie bombing investigation.
“He succeeded in preventing the CIA’s link to the attack from becoming public. “
“The CIA and FBI took control of the crash scene from day one (keeping Scottish police at bay), searching and removing extensive evidence and baggage from the wreckage to hide the links the bombing with the CIA special team; which was on board the plane.
A CIA defector said the team had returned to the United States against orders to expose the CIA’s drug and terrorist connections in the Middle East. “

LOCKERBIE IS LINKED TO HEROIN
More than one group is involved in smuggling heroin from Lebanon to the United States, using Pan Am flights.
In fact, these groups included:
- The group working for the Syrian Monzer Al-Kassar , a CIA asset with reported links to Oliver North and Mohammed Atta .
- Members of the PFLP-GC [General Command of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – Screen Company) who had links with Monzer al-Kassar , the assets of the CIA .
PFLP-GC bomb maker Marwan Khreesat was a Jordanian Intelligence Service (GID) agent with ties to the CIA.
- The CIA unit known as COREA , which worked with Monzer Al-Kassar.
Lester Coleman, a former US government agent clarified the following:
‘Members of the Jafaar clan and other DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) couriers would arrive in Larnaca (Cyprus) with suitcases full of high quality heroin , white and crystal.
[The DEA is a federal law enforcement agency under the Department of Justice responsible for combating drug trafficking and distribution in the United States.]
And, they would be greeted on board the boat in the port of Jounieh, under Christian control (Lebanon) by agents of the Cypriot police narcotics squad, who then took them to Eurame’s office in Nicosia […] . ‘
‘After that, the Cypriot police took them to the airport.
And, she put them on flights to Frankfurt ; where, the bag change routine used by “legitimate” couriers is used to bypass airport security arrangements and to load “dirty” suitcases onto transatlantic flights. ”
[ Octopus Trail – BEIRUT TO LOCKERBIA – INSIDE DIA (The Defense Intelligence Agency is one of the United States’ intelligence agencies that operates under the jurisdiction of the Department of Defense.)]
Immediately after the Lockerbie bombing, a quantity of heroin was found on the Lockerbie golf course.
And, a suitcase full of heroin is discovered by a farmer a few miles east.
CIA drug trafficking ?
Major Charles McKee, of the Defense Intelligence Agency [DIA] in Beirut, discovered Al-Kassar’s connection to the CIA .
McKee and his team have gathered evidence of drug trafficking from the CIA [One of America’s best-known intelligence agencies].
A key member of the team was 34-year-old Matthew Gannon and a CIA delegate in Beirut.
At CIA headquarters in Langley, US, McKee and Gannon expressed their anger at Al-Kassar , but got no response.
Gannon’s stepfather , Thomas Twetten, was the Langley-based chief of operations in the Middle East.
In addition, he was Oliver North’s contact at the CIA .
McKee, Gannon, and three other team members decided to return to CIA HQ and expose the COREA unit’s agreement with Al-Kassar .
They have reserved seats on Pan Am 103 .
In his book, Lockerbie: The Tragedy of Flight 103 , Scottish radio journalist David Johnston described how CIA agents flew to Lockerbie by helicopter shortly after the crash .
They were looking for McKee’s suitcase.
On August 21, 2010, The Herald (UK) publishes on its front page:
Abu Talb, allegedly an American agent .
According to The Herald:
Unheard of evidence in the Lockerbie trial revealed that the CIA believed Mohammed Abu Talb, an Egyptian, was the man responsible for the Lockerbie bombing.
In May 1989, Abu Talb was arrested in connection with the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103.
For a while, Abu Talb is imprisoned in Sweden.
Less than a year after the bombing, Dumfries and Galloway police name Abu Talb as their prime suspect.
Former British Labor MP Tam Dalyell and Edinburgh law professor Robert Black ‘have long believed that Abu Nidal , who died in Iraq in 2002, and his general command of the PFLP-GC , the Popular Front for the Liberation of the Palestine, were responsible for coordinating the bomb.
The Bomb that detonated Pan Am Flight 103 over Lockerbie on December 21, 1988 and killed 270 people. ‘
Dalyell and Black urged the Scottish and UK governments to respond to the information; of which that Abu Nidal was an American agent.

- Talb was a member of the Syria-based Palestinian Popular Struggle Front [FLPP] ; which , working closely with the PFLP-GC [ Front Popular for the Liberation of the Palestine – General Command].
- It is widely believed that men working for Ahmed Jibril , leader of the PFLP-GC , embarked the bomb on Flight 103.
- Jibril had ties to CIA assets Monzer A-Kassar .
The Mossad allegedly helped a group within the CIA set up Operation COREA , which involved the export of heroin from Lebanon to the United States.
According to reports, US intelligence agents Matthew Gannon and Major Charles McKee discovered Operation COREA.
And, they were going back to the United States to denounce the case.
They were on Pan Am 103 .
In the Lockerbie case, all the evidence against Megrahi apparently turned out to be false.
There is a growing awareness that the CIA used its own agents to bring down Pan Am 103 .
The main suspects, including Khaisar Haddad and Abu Nidal of the PFLP-GC, are said to have worked for the CIA .
Ahmed Jibril of the PFLP-GC had ties to CIA assets and drug trafficker Monzer Al-Kassar.
[- Was the Lockerbie suspect working for the United States? / – According to the sources, Khaisar Haddad, known as Abu Elias, was an agent of the US government and carried out the Locke rbie bombing .
The evidence against Iran appears to be false and Mossad misinformation.
According to alternative theories on the bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 , Ahmed Jibril of the PFLP-GC received $ 11 million from Iran.
But, the bank audit trail to confirm payment was never presented. (Disinformation about Iran? )
In 1986 there was a bomb in a Berlin nightclub.
- German television revealed CIA and Mossad links to the Berlin nightclub ‘La Belle’ bombing in 1986.
- Victor Ostrovsky, a former Mossad agent, testified that the Mossad installed a transmitter in Tripoli to generate a false signal regarding the “success” of the bomb in the Berlin nightclub.
And, so she falsely implicated Libya.
The Mossad wanted the bomb in the Berlin nightclub blamed on Libya rather than the CIA and Mossad.
The PFLP-GC, which is part of the left-wing secular Palestinian national liberation movement, was believed to have been used by Iran.
However, Iran is unlikely to use ‘a secular, even Marxist, Arab nationalist member’ of a Palestinian cell to attack the United States.
The Libya was trapped
Could Iran be trapped?
In addition, there is evidence pointing to the wrongdoing of the CIA and the Scottish criminal justice system.
- Some sources show that, Khaisar Haddad, known as Abu Elias, was an agent of the US government; and, he helped carry out the Lockerbie bombing.
Porter Goss , is said to be linked to heroin and on September 11, 2001.
Presumably, the CIA with the help of Monzer Al-Kassar was smuggling heroin from Lebanon to the United States.
And, the CIA used the profits from the Lebanese heroine to help fund September 11, 2001.
Lockerbie is linked to September 11, 2001
And, according to the sources, Mohamed Atta transported heroin for the CIA to Florida.
In an article titled Robert Gates, Lockerbie, October Surprise, Iran-Contra , we learn of the following allegation:
Al-Kassar knew that Mohamed Atta ‘transported Lebanese heroin to Florida for Porter Goss ‘ 911 operation [September 11, 2001] .
And, Muslim Brotherhood, intelligence operatives from Saudi Arabia, Germany, Syria and Pakistan were linked to the September 11, 2001 training operation in Porter Goss, Florida .
Kassar would have been a CIA asset and he is linked to Lockerbie.
On November 20, 2008, after a three-week trial in Manhattan Federal Court, Monzer Al-Kassar was found guilty of conspiracy to:
- assassination of American nationals,
- assassination of American officers and employees,
- acquisition and export of anti-aircraft missiles,
- providing material support and resources to the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC), a foreign terrorist and money laundering organization.
Since the early 1970s, Al-Kassar had been a source of weapons and military equipment for groups engaged in violent conflict around the world.
Some of these groups included the Palestinian Liberation Front (PLF).
It seems that Al-Kassar has developed an international network of criminal associates.
In addition, he had shell companies and bank accounts in various countries including the UK, Spain, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania.
Born in Syria in 1945, Monzer Al-Kassar is known as the ‘Prince of Marbella’.
Kassar is married to a sister of ‘Ali Issa Dubah’, a former head of the Syrian secret service; and, he is a close associate of Rifat Assad, the brother of former Syrian President Hafez Assad.
Kassar has been a CIA asset , working with Colonel Oliver North and General Richard Secord (Iran-Contra).
In Lebanon in 1975, Rifat Assad, ‘the Syrian boss of the Lebanese heroin industry’ , and Monzer Al-Kassar allegedly took control of the Bekaa Valley with the help of the Syrian army.
Allegedly, the heroine was transported from the Bekaa Valley to the United States on Pan Am flights with the help of Kassar and CIA agents .
[- If it’s not Megrahi, then who is really responsible ? (from The Herald) / Or Lockerbie: If it’s not Megrahi, then who is it? (independent.co.uk)
Kassar has been linked to the Lockerbie bombing.
On board Pan Am 103, on December 21, 1988, were Major Charles McKee, of the US Defense Intelligence Agency [DIA] in Beirut, and Matthew Gannon, deputy chief delegate of the CIA in Beirut.
McKee and his team uncovered evidence that a ‘ rogue’ CIA unit called COREA was involved in drug trafficking with Monzar Al-Kassar.
According to reports, Al-Kassar ‘ was part of the secret network led by US Lt. Col. Oliver North ‘.
Indignant that COREA is doing business with a Syrian ‘who made money from drugs, weapons and terrorism’ , the McKee team ‘decided to go to CIA headquarters in Virginia to expose COREA’ .
They flew on Pan Am Flight 103 which exploded over Lockerbie.
Since his recruitment, as a CIA agent, Monzer al-Kassar received a regular allowance from the CIA , deposited in his accounts.
Kassar is said to be a very big arms and drug dealer.
In 1987, investigations into the Iran-Contra scandal revealed that, al-Kassar was paid £ 1.5 million by a member of the US government to sell arms to the Nicaraguan Contras.
In 1992, Al-Kassar sold millions of dollars in arms to Croatia, Bosnia and Somalia.
As a result, he violated the United Nations arms embargoes imposed on the three countries.
According to the Drug Enforcement Agency [DEA], Al-Kassar imported 20% of the heroin that entered the United States.
In 1992, the Spanish government arrested Kassar for his alleged involvement in the hijacking of Achille Lauro.
Kassar was found not guilty of all charges in 1995.
In July 2006, the Iraqi government placed Kassar 26th in its “most wanted” list, calling him one of the main suppliers to the Iraqi insurgents.
On June 8, 2007, the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) announced the arrest in Spain of Monzer Al-Kassar.
The case was linked to arms sales to rebels in Colombia.
Kassar was arrested just days before the Libyan convicted of the Lockerbie bombing received a second extraordinary appeal.
And, also ‘after Blair traveled to Tripoli to negotiate a deal; which would save him the embarrassment of a new call. ‘
