REBEL YELL: American Conspiracies, In the Ring with Former U.S. Navy SEAL & Minn. State Governor, Jessie Ventura

The Bottom Line: This is the scariest book I have ever read. If even a fraction of what Jesse claims is true, we have been played as patsies by our government, big business, and the media. As more legitimate information comes out about conspiracies of the past, we should take these lessons and remember that those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it. With the stakes as high as they are right now, Jesse brings up many topics that people need to hear.

Many of our basic freedoms are under assault and this book is a must read for anyone that is concerned about the future of this country.

American-Conspiracies

Book Review of American Conspiracies by Jesse Ventura

When most people think of conspiracy theorists, they may picture paranoid people like Mozzie from White Collar. Jesse is far from that. He is an angry citizen that was fooled by a fake government conspiracy, The Gulk of Tonkin Incident, into going to Vietnam.

He rightfully believes that if the government could lie about an incident that cost thousands of his generation their lives, what else have they lied about.

As more documents from previous generations become declassified, you will be in shock and horror over some of the things our government has done. That is just the things we know about. There are still many cover ups going on from these incidents in the ’60s and ’70s. However, certain patterns emerge in all of these conspiracies that are still the plot line used in today’s biggest scandals. It seems that the federal government has a habit of overstepping local authorities and getting rid of the crime scene as soon as possible in such a manner that it is impossible to properly investigate it.

The thing I love about this book is that it is very well cited. It isn’t Jesse just espousing crazy theories, everything he says is backed up by fact.

However, one of the problems with conspiracy theories is that like a spiderweb, some strands are stronger than other. I found some of the links made in this book to be weak but that is what happens when there is such a mission to hide the truth from us. The big picture Jesse has come up with seem very plausible.

While you might not agree with everything Jesse says, what he is saying is very important and needs to be heard. I like that he ends every chapter with his opinion of what should be done next. He asks questions that every freethinking American should be asking themselves.

Review: Starts Right Off with The Smoking Gun

by A. R. Waterman

Ventura and Russell hit the ground running on the very first page with a copy of a document that proves a coverup from the very beginning.

Kennedy was assassinated on Friday, Oswald killed that Sunday. Robert Kennedy, Attorney General of the United States, did not show up for work Monday morning, his brother having just been murdered. In his absence, the acting Attorney General, Nick Katzenbach, sent a memo to Lyndon Johnson’s aide Bill Moyers detailing what had to immediately be done about the president’s murder: cover it all up:

“The public must be satisfied that Oswald was the assassin, that he did not have confederates who are still at large; and that the evidence was such that he would have been convicted at trial.”

The memo includes suggestions for getting the FBI to muddy the water, and for setting up a special hand-picked commission in order to circumvent an attempt by congress to get at the truth.

Katzenbach’s memo flies in the face of every basic rule of law enforcement, which is to search out, scour, and examine every possible suspect and investigate every motive following a murder. Katzenbach’s first priority was clearly to prevent the case from being investigated at all.

From these first two pages, Ventura and Russell hammer home 62 more proofs that the conventional story regarding Kennedy’s murder is a bald and blatant fraud. If you have friends who scoff at the idea of a conspiracy to assassinate JFK, give them this book. It will change their minds.
