Editors Note – Op Ed:

(Personally…now that there is a job opening at Toronto City Hall, it seems like it would be an ideal fit for me – I in fact excel at all-night partying & consuming copious amount of illegal substances)

– He was known for getting up at the crack of dawn, cracking a couple of eggs for breakfast, before  cracking a cold one – that is, before he’d crack his traditional morning joke. Then off to work at City Hall in his old Ford complete with cracked windshield, where he was known for his tenacious nature, always “cracking the whip” & in hot pursuit of any “cracks in the system”.

After a long day, he’d retire home, usually falling asleep with a good bookie by a crackling, raging fire. True, he could get cranky, but Robert Ford with his jovial demeanor & quick wit, always found a way to lighten the mood & crack me up – I miss already.

Rob Ford’s Crack Cocaine Admission Leads to Funny Meme Pics

Although it’s been obvious to anyone with half a brain for a while now, Rob Ford finally admitted to using crack cocaine during his stint as the mayor of Toronto, Canada. He blamed his drug use on drunken stupors — which isn’t that great of an excuse. Luckily for him, Canadians are a forgiving bunch.

Should Toronto force Rob Ford to step down? I don’t think so. Unless the crack or alcohol use has hindered his ability to do his job as mayor, I think it’s fine. Whether he stuffs his face with donuts or illegal substances, that’s his decision and his body. If it’s not hurting anyone else, I say let him smoke, drink and eat what he wants.
